What the fuck, why is "The Big Ship" able to make me tear up even while I'm working? The song has no lyrics and isn't a soundtrack to anything, it has no connection to any particular period of my life and there's no synethesia but it's a "try not to cry challenge" whenever I listen to it. How does an album sound so hopeful that it wraps back around to making you feel sad and depressed? How does it make the lyrics "ill come running to tie your shoes" sound beautiful?
