Coming off off The Forever Story I had high expectations from JID, and this record has some of his most impressive rapping, but as a project it comes of as an uncohesive iterative collection of solid songs. Nothing really stands out, he's trying some more rnb sounds in the middle of the record, which for the most part work, but even those ventures were executed better on his previous project. It's a decent album, maybe would've worked better as a mixtape or if some of the fat was trimmed. Most of the features are fantastic though. Favorite tracks: Wholeheartedly, VCRS, Community
