The beautiful voice makes up for an otherwise lovely but not particularly interesting album. It’s not saccharine, partly because it gives off every appearance of sincerity, but mostly because she’s just a very good vocalist. Will be an absolute star after the inevitable turn towards bluesy, hoarse melancholy.
