This isn't a review of the album but instead a "monodrama" of the same name. Marta and I walked out of it after an hour, which is allegedly the halfway point, although I don't know how you can have a fixed duration for such an incoherent rambling mess. It's supposed to be this hard hitting story about drug abuse and its heavy consequences, but instead it comes off as part stand up show, part rapping show, part biography, but mostly just serves as Stoka's therapy session to rant and ramble about how drugs are bad and scary, while also bragging about how much drugs he consumed and sold. He has this conspiracy brained bit he comes back to multiple times, about how Netflix is normalising drug use for children through shows like #[tv:63351:Narcos (2015)]. And then in a magnificent display of a gargantuan lack of self awareness, in the same breath, he brags about consuming 32 tablets of ecstasy in one night. He'll also frequently ask for applause and talk vaguely about these programs he's planning with Dubrovnik's mayor without ever going into specific detail what the program is about. Ironically enough he behaves like he's on speed, or maybe it's the unfortunate years of drug abuse that fried his brain. It all comes off as kind of sad. Perhaps the best point against drug use is seeing what's become of him, and this "monodrama" he's written. The cautionary tale isn't his biography, but to see him perform on this stage to seemingly pretty great success. This is definitely the worst live show I've ever attended, and I've been to some pretty horrific open mic nights.
