By 2025, I think it’s settled scholarship that Faeh Wong has made it to the tippy top of ‘effortlessly cool and dizzyingly beautiful’. Her daughter, Leah Dou has big shoes to fill, only she appears to be as effortlessly cool as her mother and knows better than to try. She decides instead to do her own thing, and she does it with her whole chest. It’s a delight, is what it is. The whole album is a delight.
