Algorithm struck gold with this one. Cibelle covered Waits’ “Green Grass” in a wholly captivating way. Somehow, her clear, vibrant soprano combine with Waits’ hoarse rasp produced something like a fairy tale. The rest of the album is fantastic too, might be a shade less perfect but that’s wholly a matter of taste. Mad Man Song is a masterpiece.
