sometimes you hear something so good you’re in half minds to tell everyone you know, or keep it as your own private top-secret-super-gem… Of course an album made in 2006 is nowhere near a secret and neither is Built to Spill but for me, it definitely was and for a brief month, no one went as hard for this album as i did! What’s great about listening to great stuff is on replaying it there’s this nostalgia that reemerges with certain songs that you just can’t get rid of. Now, it’s not just a song, but also the person listening to said song. when i listen to this now, i can hear how cool i found it the first listen, even though by now it must be the 76th? still its a crime how underrated this is…
