Diavola

Picked this one up the week before I started my own vacation as a means to starting to set the mood. It worked, I went to Italy with a disfunctional family, they drank lots of Italian wine whilst renting a house that wasn't necessarily the best in terms of, let's say, "neighbours". Seriously, just do more research before booking really old villas, please! All in all it didn't disappoint, I even laughed and chuckled some times (which was a surprise to me), maybe I had low expectations from a contemporary horror book. I think it is 80 pages too long, though. I actually told some friends that I picked this light read to shuffle things a bit, to get out of my reading comfort zone and they thought horror has nothing to do with light! Well, to each their own, I guess! I quite enjoyed it!
