An undercover MI6 agent is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.
Overly stylized action movie strongly inspired by the John Wick films. The film has well choreographed action, a great soundtrack and is beautiful shoot. It has one of the best action scenes I have seen in a long time, All filmed in a staircase made to look like a one take. I buy Charlize Theron as a hardecore bonafide badass action star. Roland Møller is a delight as the Russian bad guy, and has a frightening screen presence. The biggest problem is the really messy and convoluted plot that really doesn’t make a lot of sense. All style, no substance. Great hangover movie.
