“Fuck Sake! I only got a few of them left” I love the whole subgenre of ”don’t fuck with him/her” action movies. Avengement is a, to be cliché, a no holds bar brawl for 88 minutes. It's a low stakes movie on all the parameters, and I really love that. It doesn’t have to be about millions to have stakes. The fights are brutally choreographed, and filmed intensely. There is one awesome fight scene at a disco, that is just beautifully framed, and the sound effects are like hammers hitting a sandbag.
