I personally don't think he's a bad guy, just an awkward lad. The constant self-aware and thematic return to the accusations he faced probably made some people feel good about themselves, and content that he faced some sort of justice, but realistically it made for less of a hilarious show and more of an introspective. That's unfortunately not really why people watch such things. I get my sombre and nihilistic reflections on time by sitting on a park bench and watching society walk by.
