Really fun and creative film with an impeccable atmosphere. Turturro and Goodman are soo good. Leaves you thinking “what the hell was this about?” in a good way
Every shot in this movie is interesting (thanks, Roger Deakins), every word sharp (thanks, brothers Coens), every character alive (thanks, the entire cast and Donna Isaacson). It’s witty and self-deprecating and you can think about the meaning of it all, but even if you don’t it’s equally enjoyable, since it’s fun yet focused and lean, and very much needed for me considering the movies I’ve been watching this past month (and other reasons)
