Five years after an ominous unseen presence drives most of society to suicide, a survivor and her two children make a desperate bid to reach safety.
Great premise with great performances from Sandra Bullock and the kid actors. The overarching story is rubbish, and there is no reason for separating the storylines across time. The screenplay makes some really stupid choices several times. John Malkovich is voice of reason.
