When megalomaniacal White Goodman, the owner of a trendy, high-end fitness center, makes a move to take over the struggling local gym run by happy-go-lucky Pete La Fleur, there's only one way for La Fleur to fight back: dodgeball. Aided by a dodgeball guru and Goodman's attorney, La Fleur and his rag-tag team of underdogs launch a knock-down, drag-out battle in which the winner takes all.

This rating is based entirely on a memory of being 12 and watching it on repeat. Well, not exactly, I guess back then I would have given it 4.5 stars and a heart. 5 stars and a heart was reserved for Corpse Bride only. Dodgeball was my favourite sport back then. Maybe it still is. I wouldn’t know, I haven’t played it since I was 12. Does it still exist? I’m a little bit afraid to rewatch this movie, to spoil that memory, to find out that what made me laugh so much is not funny at all, or that I have become so miserable that not even Dodgeball can make me laugh anymore. I’m a coward, but we should be facing our fears or whatever so maybe it’s time
