Rita, an underrated lawyer working for a large law firm more interested in getting criminals out of jail than bringing them to justice, is hired by the leader of a criminal organization.
The problem with these types of musicals is that the singing is supposed to imply depth and emotion where there isn't any. Not to say that a musical can't ever work in principle but here it appears that the director simply isn't capable and/or doesn't trust his writing or actors to facilitate whatever he hopes to achieve through singing. The theme of trans-identity is under-explored to an embarrassing degree. Basically just a high budget telenovela.
