John Wick is forced out of retirement by a former associate looking to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to aid him, Wick travels to Rome and does battle against some of the world’s most dangerous killers.
John Wick: Chapter Two is not even close to being as good as the latter. But its still really well made movie with action scenes that are like a ballet of choreographed violence. The action scene breaks with the high paced editing of Greengrass' Bourne series. The action is beautiful, wellmade, and you get every single hit, shoot and knifepunch Some af the set pieces do end up a bit to constructed, but overall its great to see a departure frome the quick shaky cam actions scenes. The first one was a masterpiece in show, dont tell. The sequel tries do the same, but falls short in many ways. For example are we introduced to The High Table, and its really not that important to the plot. The same goes to the third act were a group of homeless people are introduced but really dont serve any purpose, and the movie could have functioned without them.
