Four sisters come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War.
Wonderful movie, albeit not without its flaws. Some of the editing was a little disjointed, but overall tremendous, with convincing acting (I wasn't entirely on board with Watson though) and the runtime at just above 2 hours just flew by. Nobody was inherently mischievous, but things in life have a way of turning out, either for good or for bad.
