Philip Seymour Hoffman is phenomenal as Owen Davian. His not your usual bad guy, but he is definitely the most menacing to date. I love the planescene. He is so f...ing scary in that scene, so calm and focused. The third act is again a bit slow, and don't keep the pace from the start of the movie.
