Many thousands of years in the future, Earth’s cities roam the globe on huge wheels, devouring each other in a struggle for ever diminishing resources. On one of these massive traction cities, the old London, Tom Natsworthy has an unexpected encounter with a mysterious young woman from the wastelands who will change the course of his life forever.
Fantastic looking movie sat in interesting world I want to learn more about. Its pretty obvious that the first time director has worked with visual effects, and knows how to use them. He does still need some work in the storytelling department. Several storylines just ends without any resolution, and there are some story choice that really doesn't make sense in my optic. For example would it have done wonders if we had been introduced earlier to Anna Fangs allies, so they could have been fleshed a bit more out for the final action set piece. The whole storyline with Katherine Valentine and Bevis Pod just disappear without any kind of resolution. Its at bit weird. The absolut best plotline in the movie is the story centering around Shrike and Hester. Its well told and heartbreaking. Its an absolut beautiful movie, but could use a tighter story, with some of the many plotlines cut away. And I love the world building its really great.
