I've enjoyed both Trachtenberg Predator movies so far, especially #[movie:1376434:Predator: Killer of Killers (2025)], so I went into this with very specific expectations. I want creative action and engaging worldbuilding, and that's exaclty what I got. There's some shitty Hollywood tropes including a cute mascot baiting sidekick, clumsy attempts at humour and a corny ending, but somehow it works! Everything is set up and followed up very intentionally, there's a purpose to every line of dialogue and every shot despite being simplistic. Overall a very enjoyable watch.
