It’s charming, I liked the humour and the premise, but altogether the story doesn’t tie up too well, if at all I guess I wouldn’t recommend it but I don’t regret watching it either. In some months, I might remember a scene and have no idea where it’s from, but it will be stuck in my head, it’s that kind of movie

Nothing was inherently bad in this film. It was well produced and coherent from beginning to end, it just wasn’t particularly gripping or interesting. Buscemi is woefully underused, despite being prominently featured, with a character that’s altogether bland. Could have been an interesting script but was missing some magic. As a black comedy it wasn’t really tense and wasn’t really that funny either
