I haven't watched a Marvel movie in a while, because of the formulaic and almost insulting narratives that accurately depict but also accelerate the rapid depreciation of society's cognitive ability. I went to see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in anticipation of a movie centred on martial arts, with a more intimate story. In typical design by committee, the first 2 acts were actually quite engrossing: the Chinese dialogue, the excellent fight choreography (if a little exaggerated - the guy hadn't fought in 10 years and he beats off 4 elite baddies who I assume have done nothing except fight their whole lives in a moving bus - how? Based on muscle memory and superior training until he was 14? Even with his blessed heritage...ah whatever, it's based on a comic book series) and the sets were really lovely to watch.
