"if you can't fix it with duct tape you haven't used enough" Skyscraper could have used a bit more duct tape. A well made action movie, that actually succeeds in making Dwayne Johnson seem a bit vulnerable, by blowing off one of his legs. Its not a bad movie, its well made. It has some really good action sequences, unfortunately two of them you already know if you have seen the trailer. The script is good, its a bit predictable. It utilizes all its setups with great effect, have them alle established within the first 15 minutes. It works. there are some illogical stuff in the script and a lot of technobabble, but it works its not insanely stupid. The cast is great. Lovely to see Neve Campbell kick ass as a three time afghanistan vet. I could have used more of that. Dwayne Johnson works great as an action star, and there is a bit of chemistry between the two.
