When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
You can clearly tell when this stops being a copy of the original film and starts doing it's own thing, because it becomes utter shite almost immediately. So many bad decisions made by filmmakers and characters towards the end of the film that it ruins anything good it does beforehand.
