Very melodramatic; Keira Knightley gives a really good performance in this. An overall okay movie, but it touches on a lot of interesting topics but doesn't really go in depth on any of them, which I feel is a missed opportunity, as the story just kind of gets watered down because of it. ||Even though Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgård have amazing chemistry in this, the entire affair just doesn't make any sense to me, to be honest. It kind of happened out of nowhere, and also, didn't the guy lose his wife like five months ago or something? It had no business being as dramatic as it was. Also, the side storyline with Lubert's daughter, Frieda, I feel was just put there for the movie to have some plot besides the love affair. Like the rest, it was very superficial, so it just kind of felt rushed to me.||
