Pretty fun sci fi thriller with a surprisingly stacked cast. The chemistry between Teller and Taylor Joy is actually pretty charming, and I’m a sucker for specific, contained, and secret science fiction mysteries. The acting was just a little weird and wooden, but I’ll allow it. I’ll say the antagonists were super boring, classic faceless monster swarms. Who thinks that’s fun? When the boss lady shows up, for some reason personally, she’s so helpless and just narrates what’s happening, which is like ??? I’m also not a fan of cool rock song montages. And lastly, why are futuristic autonomous drones with machine guns absolutely unable to hit anything? An injured, limping, blood in his eyes Miles Teller however does not miss, the future drones do not hit. So lazy 😩 The kind of science fiction that’s a lot more fiction than science, nevertheless a fun premise that as always with these movies kinda limps through the finish line.
How did they manage to get through dinner before getting down to business...
