A demoted police officer assigned to a call dispatch desk is conflicted when he receives an emergency phone call from a kidnapped woman.
It seems like most people who are giving this film a poor rating has watched the original and is basing their criticism on that. If, like me, you haven't seen the original then ignore those reviews. This is a well made, tense and well acted film that will entertain you for its entire runtime. And these days if a film manages that's a win in my book.
