Cool government operative James Bond searches for a stolen invention that can turn the sun's heat into a destructive weapon. He soon crosses paths with the menacing Francisco Scaramanga, a hitman so skilled he has a seven-figure working fee. Bond then joins forces with the swimsuit-clad Mary Goodnight, and together they track Scaramanga to a Thai tropical isle hideout where the killer-for-hire lures the slick spy into a deadly maze for a final duel.
Some observations Not a great intro sequence, but the title song doesn’t really help that much. Scaramanga's house/island is great. I want to live there, even with the funhouse in the steam room I love that it’s a whole plot point that Scaramanga has a third nipple. James Bond must seduce a belly dancer to get her belly ring she made from a bullet that killed a man. Classic Bond So the headquarter in Hong Kong in the wrecked cruise ship, is insanely cool, and a very inventive location. Geez James Bond is incompetent in this movie: It’s a miracle he doesn’t get shot in the back by Scaramanga at the Bottoms Up Club He gets beaten up by sumo wrestler and Is only saved by pure coincidence. Scaramanga even have better gadgets (the gun, The carplane) Chew Mee & Mary Goodnight? Really? They are not even trying any longer Bond just hides Goodnight in the closet, while he is banging Scamangas mistress. And tells Goodnight “You turn will come, darling” Damn,
