Rose Morgan, who still lives with her mother, is a professor of Romantic Literature who desperately longs for passion in her life. Gregory Larkin, a mathematics professor, has been burned by passionate relationships and longs for a sexless union based on friendship and respect.
How I feel about certain design choices (ie. this movie)? Yes, and I don't care that it's impractical. This is my comfort movie...but damn doesn't everybody know about prime numbers. It isn't about the fact is Barbara Streisand pretty or not it's about her perception, a woman's relationship with herself and through that her relationships with other people. Although the ending really should've shown it better. More than just half a scene of reconciliation.
