It is what it is, and it doesn't try to be anything it isn't. The fights are fun, and quite different. I love the diverse cast, and it's nice to see so many women kick ass. I adore the costumes so much inspiration from the old sword and sorcery movies from the 70s and 80s. Would Have loved a bigger budget for the CGI-fire and Billy Idol version of White Wedding.
