The dialogue-less film follows the major life stages of a castaway on a deserted tropical island populated by turtles, crabs and birds.
This movie is so serene. I was transfixed every moment and each frame is gorgeous. Movies about the passage of time like this always leave a bittersweet feeling in me. Joy for a life well lived, tearful for seeing and feeling the end of it. The film represents a snapshot in time of the life of an individual and his mystical encounter, and I for one am very glad about all of the decisions made in the story of this film.
