Jesus. Jesus Christ. I don’t watch sad movies. I don’t like sad movies. I watch beautiful movies. But damn, this was a lot. I don’t want to review it. I don’t want to think about it. It’s really beautiful, though. Really good. Genius. I’m going to go and read a children’s book about everything working out in the end and nobody is dying, nobody is an addict, nobody is scared and lonely and drowning in regret and self loathing.
Really enjoyed it, Brendan Fraser is outstanding, but constantly felt like aronofsky was sitting next to me saying LOOK HOW SAD THIS IS GOD IM A GENIUS
This is really about Ellie having shit parents.
