A brilliant film and an ode to the ups and downs of being in your 20s. Julie is “a passenger in her own life” and “struggles to see things through”. Set within Oslo’s charming summertime surrounds, WPITW feels nostalgic with the promise of never-ending sunny evenings and the effervescence of youth. Julie’s imperfections come to the fore however and there are parts which are disarmingly heartbreaking. Also unrelated, Renate Reinsve is so fit.
