This is what a comic book movie should be, funny, packed with action and some heart. Of course as we are in era number 15728562 of marvel it is derivative, but at least it's better than the last five years of marvel. And Bucky will always be hot.
A good Marvel movie, some "bold" choices which unfortunately don't go the full distance. The choreography is good and emotional moments are not undermined by awkwardly placed punchlines. The movie is funny but the jokes are better paced than your usual Marvel slop. Unfortunately it looks like shit and the colors are almost completely absent. There's scenes where discount Captain America mad Captain Russia are standing side by side and instead of being blue and red they're both different shades of gray, disgusting. Some of the character development is rushed and feels undeserved, the emotional beats can be a bit shallow but it's still better than most other movies in the same genre. Acting is good and David Harbour is great as the resident comic relief character. Florence Pough is insanely attractive.
