The Box: 3.5/5 A weird little horror with some good ideas, and a great premise, but there are some things that ends up unresolved, but it ends on a high note. It has potential to be a full length feature. The idea behind it is great. The Birthday Party: 3/5 That has some really great moments. Melanie Lynskey is great as the over anxious mother, who tries to avoid her daughter's birthday ending in a disaster. But i wouldn't call it horror. Don't Fall: 2.5/5 A group a hikers find some weird markings on their trek. The most conventional of the horror shorts. Its has some cool looking practical effects, and an interesting creature design. The scares are so-so. Her only living son:4/5 Christina Kirk is great as the loving mother, who tries to protect her son, as her eyes slowing a being forced open.
