I feel like a good smell test if you'll like this show is "do you like Gogol Bordello" and I hate them. Their music ||and even likeness|| is featured prominently throughout the show and I feel like it also influences the cadence, humour and setting. It's essentially Temu The Suicide Squad, the plot is kind of similar, taking place in a made up fucked up country, Waller commands a Flag (Sr. instead of Jr. This time) to lead a team of fucked up antihero misfits on a covert operation. Except the setting is visually inconsistent and distracting, the characters are mostly uninteresting and one dimensional and the pacing is so rushed that I think it needed at least two more episodes in a 7 episode season. I don't care about the Bride, I don't care about Nina I don't care about any of the characters. The humour is non existent, the excitement is non existent. There are some sequences that are cool but that's about it. I might give season 2 a shot only because it's a show I won't care that I'm only watching in the background.
