Just finished season 3! It's 66% excellent and 33% terrible (Gaal plotline) so that's actually a big improvement. The Dawn, Day and Dusk this season were all phenomenal, Bayta and Mallow too. Excellent cinematography throughout. What I will say is there's a lot of deus ex machinas, you have to just accept that things work a certain way even if all logic says "lmao". Gaal, while shot, jumps out of a space station, and glides down to the planet on a window, and glides straight into a spaceship. Hm, no, I don't think so. ||The Mule is suddenly Bayta. Hm, no, I don't think so. She was in completely different places in the galaxy while the Mule was Muling.|| Many more such cases. In general there is a very tight plotline (Empire) and the rest is all over the place, as seems to be the case every season. ------ Seasons 1 and 2 were were 33% excellent and 66% terrible. The split plotlines allows for quite accurate pinpointing of excellence. The excellent plotline is so good however, that you can't drop this show. There is a dire need for space operas, and this is currently filling that need. Season 3 has just started and episode 1 is off to an excellent start.
Finished season 3! Wow, what a wild ride! This is going in a direction that I did not expect coming from season 1 and 2, but I love it.
