I actually really liked this one - the dawn of space exploration on a rougher ship with a more naïve crew that’s facing all of this for the first time. The only thing that makes it fall apart is the enemies were not particularly compelling. Crew was mostly interesting and fun to watch. Unfortunately this is the last show in the ‘golden age’ of Star Trek and what’s next is not pretty.
