as a big science fiction fan, and as someone with a high tolerance for B-movie shenanigans, i am utterly defeated by this movie it takes the top spot of worst film i have ever seen, i could not wait for it to end the only positive things i can say are it has nice scenery with some nice sci fi concepts that’s it. the story, soundtrack, sound editing, acting, pacing: everything is an affront to the senses. there is nothing to enjoy. endless long shots showing and telling nothing. worse still than the glacial pace of the story was the dialogue: dear god the repetitiveness of the conversations felt like i was going insane. i just wanted something, anything, to progress. then came the otherworldly soundtrack and voices which were aggressive, overbearing, unpleasant. i was dreading every scene with them i’m not even going to acknowledge the absolutely redundant sex scenes and no, as someone who speaks french and did not read the subtitles, it’s not better in french: the charac
