I can’t figure out the costume and product design. The cloths are like from the 70s, but the cars, computers and surroundings are much more modern. I think I love it. It makes it all seems a bit like a dream. Martin Starr sells being a loving and caring husband so good that I almost want to marry him. Dan Stevens as a snakeoil merchant on tv is brilliantly. He looks and acts like a televangelist. I want whole movie with him. Best use of “Do you believe in miracles” I get a wild Shining vibe. – the axe, the aesthetic and the naked woman in the bathroom.
