Someone’s murdered at the White House during a state dinner for Australians, a dinner no one really wanted, including Australians. One house, distinct rooms and many suspects, over time you get to know all of them, it’s like being trapped inside a game of Cluedo. Detective Cupp is your classic intimidating charismatic detective with a quirk, and the show takes the “witnesses can’t be trusted” to a whole new level. It’s a decent mystery although it does get a bit too repetitive near the end (or maybe I was too eager to get to the solution), but still, nicely wrapped up and I loved the snappy, absurd dialogue style, I giggled a lot. It’s only 8 episodes and perfect when you’re in the mood for a classic whodunnit with quirky characters
