Where do I begin :( I am a huge lover of fantasy and this show scratched almost every itch. I watched it before I read the first book and after I read it I, of course, started to understand book fans’ rage over how much shit they changed in the show for no reason. YOU HAVE SO MUCH MATERIAL HOW CAN YOU MESS IT UP SO BAD. Seriously, some changes that were made feel like they were made to satisfy the director’s ego and make him feel like he’s doing something groundbreaking when actually he is just pissing off the OG book fans which set the show up for failure from the get-go. Rosamund Pike is ENCHANTING in it and kept the show afloat. Her portrayal of Moiraine is so well done, not just because of her acting skills, but because she is probably the only one in the cast who has read the books The show has beautiful set and costume design, probably too much money spent on CGI, so visually it is a 10/10. It seems by season three they have really found their footing, so of course Amazon decided to cancel it. Could’ve been GOT level, but we got what we got. It just makes me very sad we probably won’t get another TV adaption in this lifetime, however there is 15 long books I will definitely get through in MY lifetime.
